About Me

I started my coaching career at F.C.Porto Academy where I was involved with different age groups, coaching methodologies/philosophies. During this time, I was able to build my foundation/ coaching style where player development was and is my priority.

I received a degree in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Gloucestershire in UK, England. In a period of 4 Years, I worked for West Bromwich Albion F.C. Academy in Birmingham where I was responsible for team and player development and optimizing technical, tactical, physical and psychological development.

Part of my responsibility was to manage coaches, athletes, teams and the performance and analysis of the athletic side of the club. I had the pleasure to work with and learn from people such us Paul Gardiner, Lead Foundation level at Aston Villa Academy and previous West Bromwich Albion Academy Head of Player Care and Academy Manager and Antonio Frasco, F.C.Porto Champions League Winner in 1987. Antonio was my mentor during 2 years at F.C.Porto and Pep Lijnders, currently Liverpool First Team Assistant Manager.

Education, Coaching, Sports Science and Performance are my passion and part of my coaching education comes from courses such us UEFA B License and Youth Sports Coaching Courses. I now continue to be involved in Coaching Courses in the USA with experience in Coaching Varsity Teams and Club Level in Atlanta.

Toca Football is where I continue to develop my passion for player development and where all level athletes can experience excellent training with attention to technical detail, player development with technology and Sports Science concepts. It is also where players can have the option to experience statistical and data analysis to optimize their healthy development in a consistent way.

As a Lead Trainer I make sure that every member of staff is aligned with the Toca Way, Player Path and excellent technical training and making sure that the priority is the player.
